Supported Playgroups

Children start learning from the moment they are born

Our Supported Playgroups for children from zero to five give you the opportunity to meet other parents and carers, share experiences and develop your parenting skills and confidence. Your child develops skills and enjoyment for learning they will carry with them to school and beyond.

What is a Supported Playgroup?

Supported Playgroups are a positive learning environment with an added layer of care provided by qualified Early Childhood Educators.

These experienced facilitators help children and their parents and carers develop skills and confidence, and can connect families to other specialised services when they may be needed.

BFCC’s Supported Playgroups

Our playgroups are fun and enjoyable group sessions for children from zero to five years old held at several locations in the Bayside and Randwick Local Government Areas. Supported Playgroups are led by our passionate, qualified educators who create a safe and nurturing learning environment for you and your child.

Sessions are held weekly during school term and we welcome a gold coin donation to support the Centre’s activities.

Call the Centre on (02) 9666 5047 to speak with our friendly team for more information.
